Prescott Area Leadership is seeking young people who are eager to develop character and enhance their leadership skills and service to the community. If this is you, read on!
The Youth Leadership Academy (YLA) 2022 will equip each participant with a solid foundation for development of effective leadership skills. Each year, academy graduates take their new skills into leadership roles, community service, and advanced education at major universities.
This memorable weekend will bring together like-minded students from area high schools to participate in an experiential leadership training format with an outdoor team building day complete with a zip line and climbing wall, role playing, group presentations, social time, and much more. Plus, the meals and snacks get 5 stars on Yelp!

Our Mission
Helping motivated high school seniors, juniors and sophomores build a foundation for developing effective leadership skills in a relaxed atmosphere.
Eligibility
Candidacy is open to all individuals who are either sophomores, juniors or seniors in high school.
Selection
The application is the first in a two-step selection process. Following a review of the applications, candidates will be contacted to schedule an interview.
Tuition.
There is no tuition due for the Youth Leadership Academy (YLA).
It is 100% funded by Prescott Area Leadership and offered as a scholarship fulfilled in one long weekend.
