Dear
Liz,
The
Summer BBQ/Mixer to welcome Class XXII was a great
success thanks to many
volunteers who brought in the food, beer/wine,
set up the tables, worked the grill cooking burgers and
hots and cleaning up afterwards. We had people
from many past classes attend!
With
the 18 Class XXII members attending their retreat on
Friday and Saturday, August 26th and 27th, we hope to
see many more of you attend the BBQ on Friday night to
share your experiences with PAL and to encourage and
welcome the new class
members. | |

Dear
PAL Members,
I would
like to thank all of you, the members of PAL, for your
continued investment in and support of Prescott Area
Leadership. Your participation is valued and your input
is welcome and encouraged. I hope to see you at PAL
events such as upcoming Issue Days, the Man, Woman, and
Youth Leaders of the Year awards ceremony and our
22nd Year Celebration and Graduation in 2012. As a
PAL member you may continue to benefit from Issue Days
and networking with community leaders and PAL
classmates.
As the PAL organization continutes to
evolve and grow, your support is needed both financially
as well as by your donations of time and
talent. Take a moment to consider making an
investment (annual dues), and how you would like to be
involved with PAL this year. As always, there are
many opportunities to contribute. To maintain an
active membership in Prescott Area Leadership, the
annual investment (dues) are paid once a member has
graduated after their second year commitment.
Please help us by promptly returning your
PAL membership dues and completed PAL Member Information
Update Sheet (for our database) by September 30,
2011. The 2011-12 Membership Investment and
Benefits summary is linked below. Please note that your
investment also supports scholarships for youth and
class members. Payments and updated contact information
may be returned via mail to:

Area Leadership, Inc.

THANK
YOU!
It
was great to see so many PAL volunteers at the "Fair
Start" event at Open Door on Saturday! Special
thanks to Kathy Eiskamp for organizing volunteers, Dale
Siegel, Carl Brown, Patti Crouse, Mrs. Aalt, Pat Moomey
and others who may have donated school supplies, or
time - packing up the 800 back packs the night
before. They gave out 796 backpacks to children in
need. Amazing what a community can
do.
Here's the
article about the event in the Daily Courier: School supply donations get kids off to
good
start |
 Did you know that
Prescott Area Leadership has a LinkedIn group?
If you're on this social
media venue, add yourself to the group!
Sincerely, Terri Farneti,
PAL CLass
